Dog-Friendly Glamping

We believe the family dog is just that, a member of the family and deserves a holiday too! If you have a clean and well-behaved dog, we don’t think you should have to compromise on quality when it comes to choosing glamping holiday accommodation so they can join you. And the good news is, we have two dog-friendly Shepherd's Cabins!

We have a few Housekeeping Rules for our pet guests, but they are just what you would expect in a luxury Shepherd’s Cabin - such as not being allowed on the sofas or beds - after all, they wouldn't stay 'luxury' cabins for very long if we allowed this.

Our high cleaning standards ensure that guests without dogs can confidently stay without detecting doggie smells and doggie hairs! However, it wouldn’t be possible to maintain these high standards if our Housekeeping Rules weren't respected, so we appreciate your co-operation and respect for others staying after you.

Housekeeping Rules

  • Please bear in mind that a Shepherd’s Cabin is likely to be smaller than what your dog may be used to at home. For this reason we can only accept one medium/ large dog or two small dogs within our dog-friendly Shepherd’s Cabins.
  • Please make sure that muddy paws are washed before allowing your dog into your accommodation and ensure that your dog stays off the furniture, especially beds and sofas, even with blankets/ covers applied.
  • You are responsible for removing any mess left by your dog by bagging and deposing of it in the bins provided. Your dog must be kept on a lead and under control at all times and not become a nuisance to others.

  • Dogs are never to be left unattended in your Shepherd’s Cabin at any time.
  • We reserve the right to charge via your damage deposit for cleaning up any dog mess, or damage caused by your dog to the interior and grounds of the cabin which includes the replacement of white towels if badly stained/ damaged.
  • We cannot accept in accordance with the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, any dog known as a Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Argentino, Fila Braziliero, or any dog used for fighting, or has the appearance of a dog used for fighting or must legally wear a muzzle.

Doggy Welcome Pack

Within each of our dog-friendly cabins is a Doggy Welcome Pack for your furry friend just in case you forget anything. We would be grateful if you could leave these items in your cabin upon departure (apart from the dog treats and poo bags!):

  • Jar of treats
  • 1 x Feeding/ water bowl
  • 1 x Dog towel
  • 1 x Dog blanket and bed
  • Spare poo bags
